I’ve been in the hobby for quite a while now, and as time goes on you start to notice little things that you don’t when you’re fresh to the hobby, and I can say with 100 percent seriousness that Mecha Decals have been of the highest quality I’ve had the pleasure of using.
The details are extremely crisp, legible and actually make sense. The transfer film used is thin and hides itself very well once applied. They’ve been great for filling a tertiary color, both for aesthetics and for narrative purposes and are also great for narration, from the smaller filler decals to the larger decals.
They give the kit a greater sense of identity. The longer caution signs are a personal favorite. The animal call signs also. You can’t go wrong with these, they will definitely elevate your builds to another echelon!
Amazing quality decals, made better due to its’ versatility for mixing n’ matching. Definitely my go-to decals from now on.
Mecha Decal sheets are absolutely amazing. I’ve used lots of waterslide brands in the past and Mecha Decals have become a favorite of mine and a frequently used set. I absolutely love the varying designs that seem more practical but also more diverse on the sheet so that you can find a marking to fit your need. The quality is also exceptional. Very durable yet doesent set quickly so you can move them around for placing. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for well designed high quality decals.

I’ve been a serious scale model builder for the last 12+years and one of my favorite parts of any build is the decals and markings, to me that’s the part where the entire build starts to come to life and over the years certain aftermarket decal manufacturers have developed a decent product but nothing can compare to the durability and clarity of Mecha decals! Mecha decals can be used for any Sci fi or anime Mecha project and not limited to the scales in which they are printed. I have used them for projects including 1/48 and 1/20 as well as the traditional 1/100 and 1/144 scale Gundam kits. I highly recommend Mecha decals if you’re looking for unmatched quality for a 3rd party decal solution
The mecha decal range is such a perfect addition to any project. They come in a wide range of designs, perfect for any universe you might want to place them in. Across a wide range of sci-fi to modern models they won’t look out of place. And even at the smallest scale the text is still completely legible. The durability of the decal, and the quality of the glue is also worth praise. They stand up to a beating, i once stripped a piece that had decals on it and after removing the paint the decals remained. If you want a ‘generic’ warning style decal for your project, whether mixing with in-universe decals or using them on their own; you wont find anything better.
If you’re going to put in the time and effort to put 50-100 stencils all over your model, you want them to look nice and be easy to work with. So yeah, BUY THESE DECALS!!! You’ll love them and hopefully Tim designs some more so I can buy all of those, too (I bought one of each set he designed in each color).
I have been hooked on Mecha Decals since the very first wave. The clarity of the decals combined with interesting designs make them a must use on every build I do. Can’t recommend them enough and I’m thankful Tim keeps coming up with stellar designs to release.
